1. Overview

Planra respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), including for content in public forms, client portals, share links, published docs and uploaded files.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content on Planra infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  3. identification of the infringing material and where it is (the exact URL), in enough detail for us to find it;
  4. your address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

3. Counter-notification

If your content was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you can send our agent a counter-notification that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and
  4. your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the US, any judicial district in which Planra may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We forward valid counter-notifications to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification.

4. AI-generated content

AI output can sometimes resemble existing works. The same notice process applies to AI-generated content. Users are responsible for checking AI output, including any names, logos or text, before using it publicly or commercially.

5. Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, and may restrict any account that infringes others' rights.

6. Good faith

Under section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please only send a notice if you believe the material infringes your rights.
